If you're camping and preparing most of your own food you'll need about £20 per day.  This rises to about £25 - £30 a day if you're staying in hostels and eating the odd meal out.  If you'll be staying in budget B&Bs, visiting some tourist attractions and eating out modestly you should be OK on around £50 a day.  If you're going to treat yourself, you'll need a bit more.
