Great package deal at the Hilton Cardiff
We’ve just heard about this great package deal from the Hilton Cardiff hotel, and it sounds perfect for couples looking to include some sight-seeing options and meals…
For £179 ($294) a night for a room for two people sharing, the hotel includes breakfast, a picnic lunch, dinner, a gift bag and one of these trip options:
Gardens of Wales – shuttle transfer and admission to Dyffryn Gardens (where episodes of Doctor Who and Torchwood have been filmed) or to St. Fagans: National History Museum.
Castles of Wales – shuttle transfer and entry to three castles – Caerphilly Castle (pictured below), Castle Coch and Cardiff Castle.
More good news is that the package is available through December 30th, 2009, and that it’s fine to book two consecutive nights at that package rate and to then do both of the tour options. So that would be £358 ($589) for two nights for two people sharing, including all meals and fun days sightseeing. We think that sounds like pretty good value. And don’t forget that everyone gets free entry to National Museum Cardiff, and that there are plenty of other things to check out in the city as well from the shopping arcades and Bute Park to Cardiff Bay and the Wales Millennium Centre.
